About LHD in Europe
LHD in Europe is a division of Matt Cardy Specialist Cars and was set up as an extension of their website - www.mattcardy.co.uk - in order to provide a more extensive and localised service to our customers.
We supply many different cars in right and left hand drive format, to customers all over the World, with vehicles sourced from the globe over, dependent on our customer's requirements. Most of our left hand drive cars are sourced in Germany which ensures that due to the high level of attention to their equivalent of the UK's Ministry of Transport (MOT) testing, called the TUV which is one of the strictest in the World, each and every left hand drive car is of the highest quality.
This turns out to be a double edged sword to our customers, as we are not necessarily the cheapest supplier of Left Hand Drive cars, but we will never supply a product that lacks in quality. It's the age old cliche - 'You get what you pay for'. We believe in providing the best possible left hand drive cars at the best possible prices with a service that is truly second to none.
Our customers tend to be those who are relocating onto the continent, British residents of Gibraltar and other parts of Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Northern African Countries. We also supply select American cars to our customers in the UK who are either fans of 'yank tanks' or individuals who want a sports or prestige European car at a very reasonable price. Many of our customers are from Europe, but we have helped many customers in Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Cambodia, Thailand and many more.
These are left hand drive cars, which many seem to think are harder to drive on UK roads, however, with a little more patience and forward thinking, it can be fun. Especially being able to drive, for example, an Aston Martin DB9 for BMW M3 money... makes you think huh?
In some cases, we source cars from the Japanese market to supply to customers, as well as High-Performance and prestige LHD cars for those who want more car for their money, as these cars are more within reach financially in LHD format.
